Exercise 1

1.   Collect a
variety of questionnaires eg:

  •  customer surveys from big stores, fast food outlets, 
  • market research in town,
  • Government surveys sent to parents etc).

2. Examine some research-oriented ones, eg click my notes on these famous studies and go back and dig out the research devices
There are plenty of others listed here

3.   Analyse them.

  • What sort of information are they after?
  • What sort of questions do they ask?
  • How are they laid out?
  • Which ones seem easiest to fill in?
  • What counts as a good questionnaire?
