1 Pilot
the schedule in groups of three — interviewer,
interviewee and observer. Swap around. Discuss potentials and problems:
- interviewer bias,
- leading
questions,
hinting at required answer,
- interviewee sympathy
(telling interviewers what they want to hear, putting a
good face
on things),
- coping with
embarrassment or surprises,
- checking
on sincerity.

Get feedback on any issues --eg:
- did
people understand the questions?
- does
the
sequence of questions have an effect?
- are
prompts necessary?
